Privacy policy

Effective 2026-10-22. SignalLens is a Chrome extension and the site signallens.cloud. Contact privacy@signallens.cloud.

What the extension collects

There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, exchange login, wallet, or payment details.

On the free plan, pressing Start AI Analysis sends a cropped JPEG of the candlestick area, the symbol, timeframe, site name, interface language, and a random install ID to our API. If the chart area is not found, nothing is uploaded. The free plan allows 3 successful analyses per UTC day for that install ID and for a hash of the request IP.

If you save your own key, the chart and prompt go from your browser directly to the provider you chose. The key and the image are not sent to SignalLens.

How we use it

Only to produce the analysis you asked for, to enforce the daily free limit, and to keep the service reliable. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else processes it

OpenAI processes free-plan images, with store disabled. If you bring a key, the processor is the provider you picked.

The free plan may also request public Binance candles for the symbol. Bring-your-own-key analyses do not. Vercel hosts the site and API. Production quota counters live in Upstash Redis or Vercel Redis. Google Analytics (G-56BZ6TYB0Y) runs on this website only, not in the extension.

On your device

The extension stores the install ID, language, the last 20 JPEG thumbnails, and, if you add one, the provider, model, region, and API key. Uninstalling deletes them. The install ID is shown in settings if you email a deletion request.

Retention and children

Free-plan images are not written to a SignalLens database. Quota counters expire after the UTC day. Logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and security, and no longer than 90 days. SignalLens is not directed to anyone under 18.
